when i was younger, i used to think that my birthday was an unlucky day. there was this once, we took all the photos and due to exposure to light.. everything was lost. and the next year, i did something naughty and pa hit me. then i was afraid, is this going to happen every year? soon after birthdays werent so much of a big deal any longer, we dropped the cake and candles, the formal dinner, and even birthday wishes. maybe not because it isnt worth celebrating but really, there was too much stuff occupying our thoughts. and this year, after everything we’ve been through.. i thought it was time to resume the tradition. so today was supposedly my birthday dinner.. and it was a disaster, i ended up feeling very very bad. there was drama, screams, shouts, and everyday terrible in the mix. so what should i think of this daddy? really no bday celebrations for me in the future? sigh, i dont know.

and what i told mom is really true. cakes and candles, dinners, presents, the crowd means vvvvv little to me on my birthday. i just want to be happy, i just want to do good on this day, more than any other day.. to know that special things happen on this special day. you know sometimes the simplest things are the most difficult to achieve!?! and i just want everyone else to be happy as well..
