there’s this part when Fiyero told Elphaba she’s beautiful and she replied, ” You don’t have to lie to me.” Fiyero countered, ” It’s not lying. It’s looking at things another way.” This I think forms the basis of this story.. who says that the wicked witch of the west must definitely be wicked? perhaps there will be a whole different story, if we are just willing to look at it another way. hmmm.
